The Doctoral School of Education, which was founded in 1993, offers such a pedagogical scientific training program that enables students to theoretically and empirically develop the broadly-interpreted, interdisciplinary education sciences; that strengthens scientific basis of domestic education policy efforts while building on the international trends of education and other related sciences.

The ongoing and the emerging doctoral programs intend to, in one hand, face students with the changes and differentiation of the field of science, as well as with the arising education-related issues in the knowledge society, and in the other hand, prepare them for undertaking the chosen sub-discipline in a scientific manner by providing intensive research methodology foundations.
