The Institute of Education is driven by the ambition to be recognised as a leading centre for educational research both nationally and internationally, setting the standard for excellence in teaching and research, and exerting a global social impact through its educational activities, research, and strategic partnerships.

Our aim is to

• provide high-quality teaching and research opportunities in the field of educational science,
• create value for society through our research, our social engagement, and responsibility, and our impact,
• prepare our students to become professionals and leaders proficient in critical thinking, committed to democracy, innovative and dedicated to addressing social issues,
• to contribute to the development of society through our research findings and the consultancy work based on them.

 As well as its official website, the Institute of Education maintains an active presence on social media through its own Facebook, Instagram and TikTok profiles, as well as a YouTube channel, and publishes a monthly newsletter in Hungarian language. Since the summer of 2022, it has also had its own podcast series on Spotify, entitled ‘Ez is Nevtud’.
