Presentations, conferences - ECER 2026, 18-20 August, Tampere, Finland

The MTA-ELTE 'For Educational Opportunities' Research Group presented their research findings at the European Conference on Educational Research 2026 (ECER 2026), an international academic conference held in Tampere, Finland from 18 to 21 August 2026. Gergely Horváth represented the research group at the conference; the presentation focused on the experiences of mentor teachers working within the Educational Opportunities programme.

 


Presentations, conferences - International Conference on Education and New Developments - 20-22 June, 2026. Madeira

The MTA-ELTE Research Group for Educational Opportunities presented its latest research results at the International Conference on Education and New Developments held in Madeira at the end of June 2026. The presentation by Nikoletta Gulya and Anikó Fehérvári empirically confirmed the effectiveness of peer and contact effects, based on the findings of a comprehensive meta-analysis. The presentation by Edit Felső and Anikó Fehérvári analysed the positive, supportive impact mechanisms of peer mentoring on an inclusive educational environment, based on a systematic literature review and synthesis.
